Ask the questions

We think that the best thing we can do is have all of the answers. But really, the best thing we can do is have all of the questions. That's what helps us to really get to know one another, to see one another's wonderful true selves in all their glory.

Today, try using one of these phrases to tap into your curiosity and strengthen your relationships.

  • "How are you feeling about this, right now?"

  • "I don't know. What do you think?"

  • "Can you share more about that with me?"

  • "I value your insight and knowledge. What am I getting wrong here?"

  • "This weekend, I was thinking about [topic] and I remembered that this is something you're really interested in. Will you tell me a bit about it?"

  • "What are people assuming about you?"

  • "How would you approach this?"

  • "What was it like when [event] happened for you?"

  • "How can I help you?"
