Community: Feeling proud

Each week, we gather our community’s wisdom. This week, we asked:

What are you feeling proud of yourself for lately?

"For persisting with a problem to do with patient care (I'm a nurse) I really had to push hard & loudly to make a change within a challenging environment. But I suceeded, and patients are now more comfortable."

"For walking out of a relationship that didn't nourish me anymore. For understanding that it is important to "unlearn" as important as it is for "learning"."

"For going back to school to get my Masters degree!"

"Making space for a romantic relationship after being burned a couple of times."

"Eating well and nourishing my body."

"Acing my first week in a management position."

"Starting a blog."

"Getting my driver license with social anxiety and PTSD!"

“Leaving a marriage that was no longer working for me.”

“Voicing my needs, even though it felt uncomfortable.”

“Finally caring less about what other people think of me.”

“Getting through a manic episode.”

“For selling my house to live in a van and see whatever the day brings.”

“For keeping trying and keep forgiving myself if I don’t succeed.”

“For overcoming my fears by facing them.”

“Constantly taking care of myself.”

“Having and holding down 2 part time jobs this summer!”

“Taking a licensing exam for work.”

“Giving myself the rest I need.”
