Community: Who inspires you?
Each week, we gather our community’s wisdom. This week, we asked:
Who inspires you?
"My teacher Doriana inspires me, because she is a professional who works with meaning and passion, she knows how to put boundaries but still make you feel close and cared for, those are valuable soft skills not just for psychologists, but all of us."
"My mother inspires me."
"I have two groups of people that inspire me. I admire all my friends, they have characteristics that I long to improve in myself. And, of course, several artists light my creativity."
"My nanny because she has a heart of gold."
My younger sister. She's grown into a bold, strong and kind woman. She's taught me how to voice my emotions to my parents. Most importantly, she's taught me how to love myself. I'm having a lot of fun following the steps of someone who used to be my tail growing up."
"My best friend. We have been friends for 21 years and during that time she has been through some rough times. Even amidst those struggles, she never gave up. She faced them with bravery and courage. She is incredibly giving and is constantly trying to find ways to make your life better or easier."
“My boss. He is so motivating and passionate.”
“My daughter. She is on the autism spectrum and just started a business and college.”
“My mom. She was such a young mom and she lost her parents so early.”
“Sinead! She was so brave.”
“My friend who has so much kindness and a huge heart.”
“My mother. Raised me and my two brothers alone and is the strongest person ever.”
“Muhammed Ali because of his playful and strong energy.”
“My yoga masters who are nothing but wise, humble and kind.'“
“My parents do! Not only do they inspire, they remind me why I need to keep going.”
