Community: Stories of Courage

Each week, we gather our community’s wisdom. This week, we asked: What was something courageous you did recently?

I hope these stories of courage remind you of what you're capable of, too. They show us what it looks like to put courage into action: we face our fears, we take one step towards them, and we keep doing it until it's no longer necessary.

"Confronted a bully."

"Admit to myself that I need to go back to therapy."

"Walked away from a domestic situation after 25 years."

“Genuinely apologized to someone I knew I hurt with my words when I was feeling defensive.”

“Turned down work that didn’t feel morally right. Even though it meant I lost money.”

“Tried another relationship.”

“Asked someone out.”

“I told someone I loved them after hiding it for all of this time.”

“Tried to cycle to Paris by myself, did not succeed but tried nonetheless!”
