Community: Spreading kindness

Each week, we gather our community’s wisdom. This week, we asked: What’s something kind you did recently?

"Rang my mum and talked to her for an hour, even though I was tired. She loved it."

"I bought macarons for my coworker since we talked about them, and she loved it so much!"

"I was buying the last pack of cupcakes and two little kids were sad because they wanted them so I let them buy it instead!"

"I volunteer and hold babies in the NICU who need love & snuggles. It's the best."

"I made soup for a neighbor."

"I sent a virtual hug to my friend after his dad had two mini strokes."

"My sister and I were estranged for 6 months. We just reconnected yesterday. I offered her to carpool with me to visit our grandma. She was speechless at the gesture."

“I bought a big bag of rice for food pantry donation.”

“I listened to a stranger whose life is not easy. I hope after speaking he felt better.”

“Gave a bouquet of leftover event flowers to a stranger.”

“I gathered my tribe of women and fed them. They filled my cup and I filled theirs, literally!”

“I made my sick sister lunch.”

“I made a cake with myst best friends.”

“I took a long walk with someone who needed it.”

“I was a listener to hear what was clogging them inside.”

“I helped a friend to not beat themselves up over something that wasn’t in their control.”

“I gave a kid on the train some paper and my pen to do some drawing.”

“I gave a gift to someone who was feeling stressed out.”

Thank you to everyone who shared. While we can’t post everyone’s story here, we appreciate every single one. To participate in our weekly round-ups, join us Instagram!
