Let go of who you think you should be
What expectations are you carrying right now?
Notice the weights upon your shoulders:
The shoulds
The comparisons and judgments
The fears and worries
The pursuit of ever-increasing productivity
The burden of being everything to everyone
The false timeline that says you need to be here by then
The treadmill yelling at you to keep going faster
The expectations of family, friends, colleagues, community or society
Now, put it down. Take it off of your shoulders. You don't need it where you're going.
Because you're going straight towards a far better destination: your authentic self. You're going to be you. You're going to make a life that feels like you. And you're going to make the world a better place.
Remember: you need you to be you, and the world needs you to be you.
