Weekly: No need to rush
Old Happy: "I'll be happy when I get there."
New Happy: "I can find happiness here and now."
We rush to get to the end of our to-do lists... but it doesn't ever provide relief.
We rush to get through the day's responsibilities... but it always leaves us exhausted.
We rush to get to the next milestone... but it never satisfies us.
Rushing is not the solution to our problem. We won't ever find what we're looking for by completing a to-do list or obtaining a new accolade or title.
What we really want is to feel good as we live our lives. We want to enjoy our days, to love those around us, and to pursue something meaningful.
And in order to do that, we need to slow down and embrace what is happening in this moment, choosing to give it our full attention and care. That's what will bring us the feeling we are looking for.
