Unlearn what you’ve been told
For a quick but powerful exercise, try this:
Write down a list of everything that you've been told that you have to be. (Successful, strong, independent, the 'best' at something, perfect in all that you do, attractive, compliant, unemotional, organized...)
Then, ask yourself:
What it would look like if you let go of everything that's written on that list?
You would have the freedom to discover who you really are.
(And who you really are, by the way, is an absolutely wonderful human being.)
