If it all worked out

You’re haunted by your fears:

“What if it doesn’t work out?” “What if I can’t do it?” “What if it’s not worth all this struggle?”

That uncertainty about the future permeates the present: coloring your days with anxiety, leaving any progress feeling insufficient, and utterly draining any joy that could be found in the process.

But what if you believed that it would all work out?

If those fears about the future went away, would the present moment be more enjoyable?

Could you, perhaps, face your challenges with more courage, and celebrate your wins with more confidence?

Could this perspective make the process of moving towards that future a better experience for you, and for those around you?

If so, here's one small way to put this idea into practice. Ask yourself: if I knew it would all work out in the future, what's the next step I would take right now? Then take it. Remember: our actions are what create our beliefs; they're how we show ourselves what is being made true.
